Thank you for your interest in Breeding to
Red Hot Impulse.
 It
is with much prayer and deliberation we have decided to
close our breeding books to outside mares to Red Hot Impulse
for the breeding season of 2010. While there are many issues
surrounding this decision, in short, we feel that the
industry, and Red Hot Impulse, will both be best served by
limiting his book to a select few mares that we own and can
control. If you are interested in purchasing one of these
foals next year, please do not hesitate to call us early.
This is one small step we can make in practicing responsible
breeding. Even though we consider RHI to be a highly
qualified and successful breeding stallion, we choose not to
reduce his fees to the point of having him compete with an
abundance of lesser-qualified and under-priced stallions
that exist in this flooded market. Hopefully this small
measure will be followed by others and will result in a much
needed correction in our industry in a few years. It is our
greatest hope that every mare owner will breed 50-75% less
mares in the 2010.
At this point, this is a 2010 decision only and we will
consider re-opening our books in 2011
